In your opinion, how much is considered that too for children to watch TV?

My grandchildren are obsessed with seeing the pictures Animated. They'd see them every day if I'd let them. It is really getting to me! When adults return home, I behave like a puppy who has been alone all day! LOL! I assumed that is how to stimulate a conversation with an adult! (I bet I can tell you what happened in every episode Dora the Explorer and SpongeBob !!!!) I try to interest in books and other activities, but they are so used to seeing these cartoons are not interested in many other things. By the way … are 2 and 4.

I try to keep my kids interested in other things. My husband bought a karaoke machine for my daughter and my two kids love to use. We crank the music and singing children go wild at the top of their lungs. My kids do not watch about 1 hour of television per day. Also you can try centers (day care, where the adult should stay with their children, but can also interact with other adults) or simply take them outside to walk and ask them to "find" objects, like eye spy. good luck
