Spongebob Squarepants question?

Ok so is this episode of Spongebob called "night shift." Sponge Bob believes that there is this ghost called slinging hash "slasher" and when in fact "comes" at night, but it's not really him ……. is not this monster at the end of the flicker lights …. what is and what Squidward and SpongeBob do they call it? I can not unserstand them! lol please help?
