Help me please .. About ripping?

I downloaded a movie in AVI format .. file name is "The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie DVDRip Occoro avi ".. but when I play, the video sucks, full color everywhere, nothing seems odd .. does anyone know how to fix this?? I think it speaks ripping But I have no idea how.

you probably do not have the necessary codecs to play. avi. You need the DivX decoder.
