It was my mystery snail pregnant when I bought?

I added an ivory mystery snail to my tank a while ago. After I took a siesta with SpongeBob ornament, which had no choice but to call him "Gary." There are two possibilities that I know to this question: 1. Your plants may have come with snails in them. The snails that usually come in these do not grow very large, but can become pests extreme. 2. I know that some aquatic animals have the ability to maintain sperm to allow them to breed constantly.
