Someone please help me with my Halloween costume. Really easy question!?

I think I want to be a popular / famous cartoon character Halloween. Sponge Bob No please! Maybe a character from a popular video game or a TV character or a box of cereal or something. I'm pretty creative for me to do something a little more difficult, but nothing too too hard. Does anyone know a character seem very interesting as a Halloween costume? Also, if you could list a couple of characters that will be great. Thank you very much and am open to any response! Please help! Alice in Wonderland and The Wizard of Oz are good, but I'm talking about cartoon characters like Mario and Luigi or Sponge Bob or someone in a movie or something .. (Not any of the examples just to say though)
