SpongeBob and Patrick is going to be affected by the oil spill?

I recently heard that the bikini bottom is near the oil slick and SpongeBob and Patrick can not breathe in the oily water and Squidward is always in a bad mood and this will make things worse. Should we send a rescue team to check for up in all creatures in the bottom of the bikini and I are making new episodes, while oil spills in the bottom of the bikini?

I even know of his story I read on the net. In this film with SpongeBob Patrick and his two friends struggle sand against oil spills. They fill all the oil that has spilled into buckets and then Mr. Krabs sells all the oil to the Gulf countries and Mr Crab keep all the money for himself. But Squidward does not allow this to happen. We share the closet where Mr. Krabs has kept all the money and then called SpongeBob to help him to remove all the money. After removing all SpongeBob distributes money to all the bikini and the people of Bikini Bottom also become as rich as those countries Gulf and everyone lives happily ever after. I know the intention of asking this question in a serious way. But thought I would add some humor to make everyone smile. Even if you can not directly do anything about the oil spill, but we can show our concern and support for spreading awareness about it.
