My Mon not let me watch "Silence of the Lambs." Help?
I'm reading the book and I really like and really want to see the movie. But my mom says I'm too young (I have 13) and will not let me. What happens is that you always leave my 9 year old brother to watch movies PG-13 and even allowed see "Little Miss Sunshine," which is rated R. I'm pretty I'm also much more mature than other kids my age that stupid video games all the time, look silly as "SpongeBob SquarePants" and "Gossip Girl" and think "Transformers" is the best thing ever. What should I do? Be this sounds a bit whiny and childish, but I do not need any comments as to whether I'm mature enough to see the movie. A large number of children in my class have seen it and everyone says it is not so bad. That includes the naive girls who smoke because they think it's great. I'm pretty sure I'm capable of handling the film. I just need advice on how to actually convince her to let me watch this movie.
Why are you asking here? it's not like we can change their opinion about a movie, I personally think she is sad to do so first. I've always been able to watch old movies and hasn't made me, hate it when parents do this.
